Why should I apologize for being a monster? The world is a monstrous place. There are monsters in the ocean, in the sky, on land, and in the minds of men. I am as much a part of this world as all those things, and how can I be blamed for something that isn’t my fault?

You see, it’s not my fault that there are so many monsters in this world. The ones with fangs or claws or wings or scales or fur or scales or whatever aren’t my fault either – they were born that way. Maybe their parents were monsters too, maybe they were born into a monster family; but no matter what you say about me, I’m not going to apologize for being born this way.

It’s not my fault that there are so many people who don’t like me just because I’m different from them. It’s not my fault that people fear me when they don’t even know me – sometimes they think that just because I have horns on my head I’m going to eat them up! Why should I have to apologize for something like that?

But if you insist on asking for an apology from me anyway: sorry for being so big! Sorry for having such big teeth! Sorry for having horns!
