I went to the DMV for my license renewal, and I have to say it was the most unpleasant experience. The lady at the counter was rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. She didn’t offer any information about the process or what to do next. She just took my documents, stamped them and told me to go sit down. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes while she shuffled papers around behind her desk.
After that long wait, I finally got up to her window, but she didn’t even look up at me or say anything. She just took my documents again and stamped them without saying a word. When I asked if there was anything else I needed to do, she just said “Yes” without looking up again or giving me any details about what might be required next time or how long it would take.
When I asked if there were other windows open so that other people could use them instead of wasting time waiting in line, she said “No” again without looking up from her computer screen even once! It was so frustrating!
I finally gave up on her and went back home with no answers about whether my license renewal had gone through properly or if I needed to come back.
