My cat is about 3 weeks old and he is very hyper. He’s jumping, running around and biting everything he can. I have never had a kitten before so I’m not sure if this is normal or not.

It’s possible that your kitten is just a hyperactive kitten and that she will grow out of it. But there are other things to consider.

If your kitten was born into a feral colony, she may be used to being around other cats and kittens who are aggressive and territorial. This means that she might be more likely to act like this around people and other animals.

It’s also possible that your kitten has been injured at some point in her short life; perhaps she has been attacked by another cat or dog, or even stepped on by someone walking by outside your home. These types of injuries can make her more scared of certain situations in the future, which may be why she seems hyper every time someone walks by or another animal comes near her home.
