Cats are not like dogs. They are finicky creatures that make it pretty clear when they don’t like something. We’ve all seen the cat turn its nose up at a bowl of dry food. But what about when you’re about to give them their wet food treat?
Cats have been domesticated for thousands of years, and we’re still learning new things about them every day. One thing we do know is that cats love to eat. So why do they walk us over to their food bowl?
It’s all about respect.
If you’ve ever had a cat, then you know they are very particular about their food. They want the best and they want it now! The best part is that they usually get what they want because we humans spoil our furry friends rotten! However, there is one thing cats want more than anything else: respect!
Cats want you to understand that they’re in charge at home, and feeding time is no different! When you walk a cat over to its bowl, you’re showing them that this is how it’s going down — they aren’t going to have to go through any extra effort to get what’s theirs!
