I have been asked a few times why God created ants. I thought that I would share some of the answers that I have given.
For one, ants are very interesting creatures. They are social insects and live in colonies. This is a very efficient way to survive. Ants work together and do not fight amongst each other for food or territory like other animals do.
Ants are also very diverse in their appearance and behavior. There are over 12,000 species of ants found all over the world, from deserts to rainforests to tundra regions. Ants vary greatly in size and coloration, with some species being as small as 1 mm in length while others can grow to almost 20 mm long! Some ants even have wings so that they can fly!
Another reason why God created ants is because He wanted us to be able to learn about Him through them (by studying them). One thing we learn by studying ants is that they have different jobs based on their age and sex (for example, the queen ant has no wings; the male ant has wings but cannot sting; etc.). This is similar to how God has different jobs for us based on our age and sex (for example, priests have no.
