There are many different reasons why ants may be coming out of your bathroom sink, but don’t worry, they won’t stay there for long. Here are a few common causes of ants in the home:

Food

Ants love food, and they especially love sweet foods. They will travel long distances to find food sources, so if you have a lot of food around your home, you will probably see more ants than usual. Ants also like greasy foods, so if you have french fries lying around or something similar, expect an ant invasion.

Pests

Ants are attracted to pests such as cockroaches and spiders because they feed on them once they’ve been killed or eaten by other insects. Pests often gather in dark corners and under furniture and appliances because these areas offer shelter from predators and bad weather conditions like rain or snow. If there is a pest problem in your home, chances are there will be an ant infestation soon after as well.

Dirty dishes

If you leave dirty dishes piled up on the kitchen counter overnight then you’re asking for trouble! Ants love sugar and grease so anything that contains either one will attract them like crazy! Make sure that all plates are washed thoroughly.
