The cigarette lighter fuse is located in the fuse box under the hood, to the left of the steering wheel. You will need to remove the cover on the fuse box by pressing down on the tabs, then pulling out on the cover. Once you have removed it, locate Fuse #20 and remove it from its socket.
After doing so, check to see if your cigarette lighter is working. If so, then you will need to replace your fuse with another one from your spare set. If not, check all other fuses in your car for damage or corrosion.
If none of these things work and your cigarette lighter still does not work, then it is time to take your car into a shop for a more thorough diagnosis and repair.
