Cats are a lot like people. They love to sleep, they love to play, and they love to get their way. But when it comes to rain, cats have different preferences than humans.
Cats are the perfect example of an independent creature. They do what they want, when they want, and how they want. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some things that can cause them stress, however.
If you’ve ever wondered where your cat goes when it rains, here are some possible solutions:
They go inside with you: Some cats will go inside with their owners and curl up on a bed or couch while it rains outside. This is probably the most common solution for cats who don’t like being wet. If your cat is one of these types then you should consider getting an indoor cat enclosure or patio enclosure so he can stay dry but still enjoy being outside with the family!
They hide under objects: Many cats will hide under something if they’re going to be outside during a rainstorm. Sometimes this means hiding under trees or bushes (if there are any nearby), but it also means hiding under cars or other large objects that provide cover from falling water and debris from trees/ro.
