Puppies love the water, but it’s important to keep them safe when you’re at the beach or lake.

You can take your puppy to the beach when they are between 8 and 12 weeks old. At this age, puppies have a strong immune system and are less susceptible to parasites like hookworms.

You should not take your pup to an area with a lot of seaweed or other types of debris that could potentially cause harm if ingested by your dog. It’s also very important that you keep an eye on your puppy while they are in the water because they may try and eat anything they find along the shoreline.

If there is more than one person at the beach, someone needs to stay close by at all times so that they can keep an eye on their pup at all times during their visit.
