Snails are not always the easiest thing to find in nature. They are slow moving and they tend to hide in small cracks and holes. That is why they are often found in your garden or near ponds or lakes.
However, there are some animals that can easily hunt them down and eat them. In this article, we will take a look at some of the animals that eat snails:
Raccoons
Raccoons are omnivorous animals that will eat just about anything they can find. They like snails because they are high in protein and fat content, which makes them perfect for raccoons. They have also been known to pick up dead snails from their shells and eat them as well!
Crows
Crows love snails for the same reasons raccoons do – they taste great! Crow’s diet consists mostly of insects, nuts, seeds and fruit but they also enjoy eating snails when given the opportunity! Most people don’t think of crows as predators but they have sharp beaks which help them open up snail shells easily!
