The second most valuable vinyl album is Led Zeppelin’s “Physical Graffiti”, which fetched $14,000 at auction in 2017. The third most valuable vinyl album is yet another Pink Floyd record: the band’s “Dark Side Of The Moon”, which made its way onto the auction block for $13,000 in 2016.

The rarest records ever sold include John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme”, which went for $21,000 at auction in 1998; Miles Davis’ “Kind Of Blue”, which fetched $20,000 at auction in 2000; and Bob Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited”, which made its way into the hands of a private collector after being sold at auction for $19.
