Pure New Wool is the highest quality wool available. It is made from the natural fibers of sheep, which means that it is not treated with any chemicals or dyes during processing. It’s also free of any synthetic materials like nylon and polyester, which can be added to wool products to make them stronger, more durable and easier to handle.
Pure new wool is a soft material that’s ideal for many different kinds of projects. You can use it to make clothing, bedding and upholstery; you can even use it as stuffing for furniture or toys.
Wool comes from the fleece of sheep, which means that it grows naturally on their bodies and has no dye added during processing. In fact, pure new wool never undergoes any kind of chemical treatment at all. There are some types of wool that have been dyed before sale (like merino) but these are still considered “natural” because they haven’t undergone any kind of chemical treatment during processing.
It’s important to note that there are two main types of natural wool: virgin wool and recycled wool. Virgin wool is made entirely from virgin fleece (i.e., fleece taken directly from sheep). Recycled wool is made by recycling scraps.
