The Sniper Button is a feature in the Zombies game mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is used to switch from normal aim mode to sniper mode, and vice versa.

Sniper Mode allows the player to see enemy players through walls, making it easier for them to shoot enemies even if they are hiding behind objects. Players can also shoot through thin objects such as planks, which makes them difficult to shoot back at.

However, using this feature will cause the player’s movement speed to be reduced significantly while aiming down the scope, making it harder for them to run away from zombies unless they have Juggernog or PhD Flopper equipped.

The Sniper Button was originally only available on PC until it was added into console versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops on January 29th 2011 in an update.
