Spiritual purity is the state of being in harmony with God and the laws of nature. It is a state of consciousness that enables us to be aware of our thoughts, motives, and actions.
In the Bible, spiritual purity is described as being without blemish (Leviticus 21:17-23). In order to enter into this state, we must first cleanse ourselves from all sin, both outwardly and inwardly. This can only be done through repentance and forgiveness. Our sins have separated us from God so we must repent of them before we can be forgiven for them and become spiritually pure again.
As Christians we are called to live a life of holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16), which means living in accordance with God’s will for us as revealed in His Word. When we live according to His will and follow His instructions then we will become more like Jesus Christ and reflect His glory more fully than ever before!
