I was born in the early 80s. My parents were still young and had a lot of fun. They got married in 1981 and I was born in 1982. They didn’t have much money but they always found ways to entertain themselves and make me happy.

They loved watching movies, going out to eat and dancing at clubs. Sometimes they would rent a movie and watch it together. Sometimes they would take me to dance with them at clubs or restaurants where there was live music playing. They also liked listening to music on their stereo system at home.

When I was little I remember my parents taking me shopping all the time and buying me toys and clothes I wanted. As I grew older, my parents started taking me out more often too so that we could spend more time together as a family.

One thing that really stands out from those days is how much fun we had doing absolutely nothing! We’d just sit around the house or go somewhere together as a family doing absolutely nothing…and it was great!
