Cockatiels are generally good at getting along with other birds. They can be a little bit shy, so they may take some time to warm up to other birds. They do best if they have another cockatiel or two to hang out with. If you are looking for a bird that you can have multiple cockatiels in the same cage, then it is probably a good idea to get 2 or 3 of them so that they can keep each other company.

Cockatiels do get along well with budgies, who are also small parrots. However, if you have a large enough cage for both of them, it is probably better to put them together because they will need more space than what you would give them if they were kept separately in their own cages.

Some people say that cockatiels and lovebirds do not get along, but some people have success with putting these two species together. The only thing that’s certain is that there’s no way to know for sure until both birds are adults and have been together long enough for you to see how they interact with each other on their own terms instead of yours!
