What are Bullet Proof Tires Made Of?

There are several different types of tires that use different materials to make them bulletproof. The most common type of tire to be used in a bulletproof application is the radial tire, which uses a combination of Kevlar and steel plies to create a bulletproof tire.

The other type of bulletproof tires are called run flat tires, which have no air in them at all. They have special plugs that can be inserted into the holes left by bullets, so you can drive on them until you get back to safety. The downside to these types of tires is that they cannot be repaired or replaced once they are damaged because they are run flat.

Some people also choose to buy a set of custom made tires for their vehicle that can withstand bullets but may cost more than regular tires do.

In addition to these two main types of bullet proofing tires, there are also other options available for those who want to purchase a new set of tires for their vehicles but don’t want them to be so heavy or expensive as ones with Kevlar plies in them.
