Calvin Harris has released a new single titled “This Is What You Came For”. The song features the vocals of Rihanna and was written by the Scottish DJ and his frequent collaborator, Scottish singer-songwriter Nils Sjöberg, better known by his stage name Cashmere Cat.

The track was originally written for inclusion on Rihanna’s eighth studio album Anti, but it didn’t make the cut. Harris later released it as his own single for free download on SoundCloud in April 2016. It peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100.

“This Is What You Came For” is set in common time with a moderate tempo of 126 beats per minute. It is written in the key of D major with a chord progression of D–G–Am–F.[1][2] The song follows a basic sequence of Dmaj7–G7/D–Gmaj7–Am7/D–Db/D as its chord progression.
