The Only Jointless Bone In Your Body Is?

The only jointless bone in your body is the hyoid bone. It’s located in the front of the neck, below the base of your tongue and above your thyroid gland.

The hyoid bone is a horseshoe-shaped, U-shaped bone that supports and anchors the muscles of your tongue, larynx and pharynx. There are no joints between the bones in your body, but there are spaces where they contact each other. These spaces allow for flexibility as well as stability during movement.

The hyoid bone is unique because it has no joints between its two halves. The other bones in your body have more than one joint — some have one joint while others have more than one joint.
