The Forward Reaction Is Best Described As An ?

The forward reaction is best described as an exothermic reaction.

A reaction is the process of one or more substances changing into one or more different substances. In chemistry, a reaction is a process that results in the formation of products after steps called “reaction steps” or “chemical reactions”. Chemical reactions can be either spontaneous or non-spontaneous.

In a spontaneous reaction there are no external forces applied to the system, so it will proceed to reach equilibrium without any outside intervention. In a non-spontaneous reaction there are outside forces (such as heat) that drive the reaction towards equilibrium.
