My Radio Is Making A Clicking Noise?

The clicking noise you are hearing is most likely the relay that controls the volume. The relay is controlled by a microprocessor. The microprocessor is communicating with the relay through a small circuit board and wires.

The wires can get damaged or loose, causing interference in the signal. This will cause the relay to make a clicking noise when used. If this happens, there are two things that need to be done:

First, check your wiring for any damage or loose connections. If you find any, then repair them as necessary so they won’t short out again in the future.

Second, after repairing any damaged wiring, turn on your radio and check to see if the problem persists.
