Love is a four-legged word. This means that it’s not just a feeling, but also an action.
Love is something you do, not something you feel.
Now this may sound like a very simple concept but in reality it’s one of the most difficult things that we humans have to learn. We live in an age where everything is about instant gratification and what we want right now. The idea of waiting for anything or anyone is completely foreign to us.
But love isn’t about what you want right now; it’s about what the other person wants and needs at this time in their life. It’s about giving them the space and time they need to grow and change as people into someone who might be able to someday return your feelings towards them.
It’s also important to understand that when we are talking about loving someone else without any expectation of getting anything back from them, we are talking about unconditional love here my friends. Unconditional love means that you don’t expect anything from the other person in return for your affections; you simply love because it makes you happy inside when you see how happy your actions make them feel inside as well (this doesn’t mean that there aren’t times when both parties.
