Is octa core good for gaming?

The short answer is: Yes, it’s pretty good. The long answer is: Yes, but there are some limitations.

We’ve all heard of the term “octa-core” thrown around in recent years, but what does it mean? Simply put, octa-core processors are processors that have eight cores instead of the standard four. This means that they can execute tasks more efficiently, which can improve system performance and allow for greater multitasking capabilities.

As we’ve seen in our previous article on SoC manufacturers and their flagship processors (Snapdragon 855 vs Kirin 980), Qualcomm has been on a roll lately with their Snapdragon 600 series chipsets. But when it comes to mobile gaming, there are other options out there that you should consider before making your purchase decision.
