Is 2GB VRAM enough for Unreal Engine?

The short answer is yes, 2GB of VRAM is more than enough for Unreal Engine.

The long answer is that it depends on what you’re doing with it. If you’re rendering a scene with hundreds of thousands of triangles, then 2GB isn’t going to be enough, but for most people’s needs, it will be fine.

If you want to do something like this, then yes, you will need more than 2GB of VRAM. This is an extreme example though – most people don’t need to render scenes with millions of triangles every frame. In fact, most games won’t even come close to doing that!
