Is 24GB RAM enough for gaming?

24GB of RAM is enough for gaming, but it’s not necessarily the best option.

The amount of RAM you need for gaming depends on a few factors: first, the game you’re playing; second, what kind of graphics card you have; and lastly, whether or not you have other programs running in the background.

If you’re playing a game that doesn’t require a lot of memory, like Minecraft or League of Legends, then having 24GB of RAM might be overkill. But if you’re playing something more high-end—like Fortnite or Battlefield—then having even more memory than that could be helpful.

It’s also important to consider what kind of graphics card you have. If your graphics card isn’t capable of handling large amounts of RAM well, then it might be worth considering downgrading to 16GB instead. But if your graphics card can handle 24GB comfortably (and has enough cooling), then there’s no reason not to bump up to the max!

Lastly, if there are other programs running in the background while you play games (like antivirus software), then that could impact performance as well.
