- Make a plan of action. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and say “I love you” without really thinking about it. But when you know how you want to say it, you can avoid awkward silences, keep things lighthearted and be thoughtful with your words.
- Be creative! Surprise your partner with something unexpected like writing their name on their favorite food or making them breakfast in bed on their birthday. You could also take a photo of yourself holding up signs saying “I love you more” and then send it to your partner via text message or email as a way to let them know just how much they mean to you.

- Say it spontaneously – don’t wait for an anniversary or special occasion! Remembering to say “I love you” spontaneously throughout the year will remind your partner why he or she fell for you in the first place!
