Optimizing your photos can make them smaller, which makes it easier to share them online and store them on your iPhone. But sometimes you may want to undo this process. Here’s how.
Launch the Photos app from the Home screen of your iPhone.
Tap on a photo you’d like to undo optimize. If the photo is in Albums view, tap Edit at the bottom of your screen.
Tap on the three dots icon in the top right corner of your screen, then tap on “Optimize.” You’ll see a pop-up box that says “Photos has been optimized” with an option to turn off optimization.
Tap Turn Off and confirm by tapping OK in the next box that appears when you’re done making changes.
