The Q&A feature on TikTok is a pretty good tool for getting answers to your burning questions, but it can also be annoying when it starts popping up in the middle of the video you’re watching. It’s especially frustrating if you don’t have an account and are forced to answer a question or see an ad. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to disable these notifications so they don’t show up again.
Open up the TikTok app and tap on the Me icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
Scroll down and tap on Settings. This will open a new menu where you’ll find all sorts of options for customizing your experience with TikTok. From here, tap on Notifications & Sounds and then select Q&A from the list of available settings options that appear on this page.
From here, simply toggle off the switch next to “Enable Q&A Notifications” at the top of this menu to disable these alerts from showing up anymore.
