The easiest way to attach fabric to wood is with a staple gun. But if you’re looking for a more permanent solution, there are several options available. The first thing you’ll need to do is decide how much time and effort you want to put into the project. If it’s for a special event or just a one-time decoration, then you may not want to go through the trouble of applying an adhesive.
If you want your fabric hanging on the wall for a while, try using double-sided tape or spray adhesive. To make sure the tape or glue will adhere properly, clean both surfaces with an alcohol wipe before applying them.
For more long-lasting results, use removable wallpaper adhesive (also called paste) and apply it directly onto the backside of your fabric using a paintbrush or foam roller. Once it has dried completely (about 20 minutes), simply hang up your fabric on the wall!
