The iPhone 7 comes with a 2.5-inch, 1334×750 pixel resolution display. This is a decent size for reading and watching videos, but when it comes to split-screen apps, it can be a little small.

That’s why Apple has added a feature called Multitasking on the iPhone 7/7 Plus that lets you view two apps at once. Here’s how you do it:

1) Open an app in one of the four corners of your screen (the corners where the home button would be if it were present). You’ll see an outline of an iPad-style split screen appear; this means you can drag the other app into one of these four corners, or simply double tap on another corner to bring up all open apps at once.

2) Drag the app icon into a corner that’s not covered by another app — as long as there’s space available, that is! If there isn’t enough room for both apps, you’ll have to shrink one down (see below).

3) The app will snap into place, filling half of your screen with its content. To adjust this split ratio (or completely close out either app), tap on the edit button.
