To remove your marble tile, the first thing you will want to do is prepare the surface where you are working. You can do this by using a hammer and chisel to remove any mortar that may be holding the tile in place. Once this has been done, you will want to use a drill with a diamond tip bit and drill holes into the back of each of your tiles. This will make it easier for you when it comes time to remove them.
Next, use a cold chisel hammer to break up your tile into smaller pieces. You can then use a scraper or hammer and chisels to remove these smaller pieces from your wall or floor. If there are any stubborn pieces that are not coming off easily, then make sure that you put them in a plastic baggie so they don’t get mixed in with other pieces of marble tile during cleanup later on.
When all of this is done, go ahead and vacuum up any dust or debris that might still be left behind after removing all of your tiles. Then wash down any areas where there was residual dust left behind with warm water and mild soap before allowing them to dry completely before moving on with any further steps involved in repairing this problem area of your home or business building.
