To remove a bandage from hairy skin, you can try using baby oil or hair conditioner. This works best on dry skin and will help to soften the hair and make it easier to remove the bandage. If your skin is oily, this may not work as well, so avoid using too much oil or conditioner.
If you don’t have any baby oil or hair conditioner, you can still use petroleum jelly instead. Petroleum jelly is usually made out of mineral oil, which is often used in many over-the-counter medications for its healing properties.
To use petroleum jelly to remove a bandage from hairy skin:
Apply some petroleum jelly onto your fingers and rub it into the area where the bandage is attached to your skin. Make sure that all of the hair is covered in the petroleum jelly before proceeding with this step. If there are any bald spots on your body where there isn’t any hair growth, then make sure that those areas are covered with petroleum jelly too!
Wait for a few minutes (approximately 10 minutes) before removing the bandage so that the petroleum jelly has time to work its magic!
