How To Remove A Towel Bar With No Visible Screws?

If you’re trying to remove a towel bar with no visible screws, it may be possible to remove it using a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. The towel bar is usually held in place by two small screws that are mounted at the top and bottom of the bar.

  1. Place the towel bar flat on a table so that you can see the screws through the holes in its mounting plate. If you can’t see them, shine a flashlight through each hole to illuminate them.
  2. Hold a screwdriver against one of the holes and push down on its shaft with your thumb until it touches the head of the screw inside it. This should loosen it enough for you to remove it by hand.
  3. Use pliers to grip both sides of the head of the screwdriver once it’s been inserted into one of the holes, then turn it counterclockwise until it comes out of its hole (the other side should still be loose). Repeat this process for all four screws until they’re all removed from their holes and set aside so they don’t get lost during installation later on.
