How To Muffle Audio In Premiere?

This tutorial will show you how to mute audio in Premiere Pro.

Step 1: Find the clip you want to mute.

You can mute any clip on a track, either by clicking on the volume control or by right-clicking on a clip and choosing Mute Track from the menu.

Step 2: Click on the volume control icon in the track header.

This will bring up a menu with options for muting, soloing or disabling all other tracks except for this one. To mute audio, choose Disable All Tracks Except Selected Track from the menu. This will turn off every other track in your project except for the one selected — which means no other video clips will play as long as this one remains muted.
