Leliana is a powerful mage who can be found in the Hinterlands. She’s an ally of the Grey Wardens, and will provide you with some valuable information about the Blight.

You’ll first meet Leliana in The Hinterlands, where she’s working on a farm with her friend Isabela. After hearing that her daughter Averna has been taken by the Arl of Redcliffe, Leliana vows to rescue her from him.

Head over to Redcliffe Castle and talk to the Arl of Redcliffe (who looks suspiciously like Duncan) for more information about Averna. You’ll need to complete one quest for him before he’ll let you enter his castle.

After speaking with him, head back over to Leliana’s farmhouse and talk to her again. She’ll give you a new quest called “The Landsmeet,” which requires you speak with the archmage Flemeth about how to save your daughter from being turned into a slave or killed outright.
