The first thing to do is to open the message. Then, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of your screen and select Forward. You can also tap on the paper airplane icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Forward.
Once you have sent a screenshot, you can’t cancel it. However, if you realize that you didn’t mean to forward it, then try to delete it by swiping right on the screen. In case you accidentally forward a private message, don’t fret because there’s no way for someone else to see it unless they know your username or direct message (DM) address.
You can find out how to delete a forwarded message here: How To Delete A Forwarded Message On Instagram
There are times when you may want to forward something from Instagram onto another platform like Twitter or Facebook. If this is something you want to do often, then there is an easier way than going into each individual photo or video and copying and pasting it into another app or service.
To begin with, open the post that you want to forward. Then tap on the three dots icon at the top right side of your screen and select “Share.”
