If your PS3 hard drive has been corrupted and you are having problems playing games or loading up the system, there are a few things you can try.
Step 1: If you have recently downloaded a game or movie, try deleting it from the system first. You can do this by going to Settings > System Storage Management > Games and Apps and delete any content in there.
Step 2: If you have not downloaded anything new recently, try copying everything back onto the drive. You can copy everything off of the drive by going to Settings > System Storage Management and deleting everything in there as well. Then go back into XMB and copy everything back onto the drive again.
Step 3: If none of these steps work then it may be time to replace your hard drive altogether!
