Exiting Minecraft without pausing

The first way is simple: just press Esc and select the Exit menu item. If you’re using a controller, press B + Y + X together. Once it’s selected, click on “Yes” and the game will close immediately.

If you’re using a keyboard and mouse, you may find that this doesn’t work for some reason. In that case, try pressing Alt + F4 or Ctrl + Alt + Delete together. This will also force the game to close immediately without pausing or going through its usual shutdown process.

If neither of these work for you, there’s still another option available — one that works with any version of Windows 10 as well as previous versions of Windows too: hold down Shift while pressing Esc or Alt + F4 / Ctrl + Alt + Delete . This should force the game to close immediately even if pressing these buttons alone doesn’t work properly!
