You can connect your PS4 controller to an iPad without jailbreaking it. You’ll need a third-party app called “Joystick Mapper” and a USB OTG cable.
Download Joystick Mapper from the App Store. It’s a free app that will let you map buttons on your PS4 controller to different actions on your iPad.
Connect the USB OTG cable between your controller and iPad, then open up Joystick Mapper.
In the top right corner of the screen where all of your different options are located, tap on “Configure Controls.”
Next, tap on “Add New Controller” and select “PS4 Controller.” Then press “Next,” which will take you to a screen where you can name it whatever you want (or leave it as is). Now press “Next” again to go back to the main screen with all of your controls displayed.
Now press on any button on your PS4 controller, such as L2 or R2, and drag it down onto one of the empty slots at the bottom of the screen. This will map that specific button from your PS4 controller to whatever action you want it to perform when pressed inside Joystick Mapper (i.e., pressing L2 could open up saf.
