Oculus Quest is an all-in-one VR headset. It has everything you need to get started right out of the box. No wires, no computer, and no mobile phone required. Just put it on, pick up your controllers, and jump into VR!
Oculus Quest is a standalone headset that doesn’t require a PC or mobile device to operate. The headset itself comes with 64GB of built-in storage and includes Bluetooth connectivity for audio and accessories like headphones or a microphone. The Oculus Touch controllers have built-in batteries that last up to 4 hours before needing to be recharged.
Oculus Quest isn’t without its limitations. The biggest one is that it doesn’t have positional tracking like Rift does so there’s no way for developers to include full body movement in their games just yet (though some games do support sitting or standing only).
The other major limitation is that it can only run apps from the Oculus Store, which means there are fewer options available than on desktop platforms like SteamVR or Valve Index.
