Most Blu-ray players come with an HDMI cable to connect the player to your TV. If your Blu-ray player does not have HDMI, you can use component video cables instead.
Step
Connect the yellow video cable from the back of your Blu-ray player to the yellow input on the back of your TV (or DVD recorder), using a screwdriver if necessary.
Step
Connect the red and white cables from the back of your Blu-ray player to their corresponding inputs on the back of your TV (or DVD recorder), again using a screwdriver if necessary.
Step
Plug in all three devices and turn them on at once by pressing their “Power” buttons or turning their switches to “On.” You should see a picture on your television screen shortly after turning everything on.
