How To Befriend A Wild Rabbit ?

There are many reasons why people want to keep wild rabbits as pets. Wild rabbits can make good pets, and they are relatively easy to care for. However, if you don’t know what you’re doing, you could end up with an injured or dead rabbit on your hands.

The first thing you need to do if you want to befriend a wild rabbit is go out and look for one in the wild. The best place to start looking is at dawn and dusk, when most of the other animals that might hurt you or your pet are asleep. If you live in an area with many rabbits, look for areas where there are lots of holes in the ground and bushes full of rabbit droppings.

If it’s wintertime, look for snow drifts that have been formed by rabbits tunneling underneath them. The easiest way to find a wild rabbit is by watching them hop around during daylight hours; once they see you are trying to catch them (by moving slowly), they will run away from you or into their burrows.
