The Midbrain is the oldest part of the brain, and it is where we find our survival instincts. It is also where we find our pleasure center. This means that we are programmed to be attracted to things that will help us survive and things that feel good. It is very difficult to activate your Midbrain in adults, but there are ways to do it.
The first thing you need to do is understand how your Midbrain works. Your Midbrain only cares about two things: survival and pleasure. If something doesn’t help you survive or make you feel good, then it isn’t worth paying attention to. This is why we often ignore things that are important for our long-term happiness such as saving money or exercising regularly.
How do we turn this around? The easiest way is by making sure that everything in your life has some sort of positive effect on either your survival or your pleasure center (or both). This can be anything from buying an expensive new car or taking a vacation overseas, but it can also include taking care of yourself in other ways such as eating well and getting enough sleep every night so that you feel energized during the day instead of exhausted or burned out all the time.
