My mom is 52. She’s a very independent woman and she has always had to work hard for everything she has. She was born in 1963, so that makes her 45 years old. I think it’s great that your mom is making you take care of her, but you should definitely ask if there’s anything she needs help with before doing all the things she wants to do!

My mom is 52 too! She is a nurse and works at the hospital in town. She has always been a strong woman who can take care of herself and doesn’t need anyone else to do it for her. My dad passed away a few years ago and we have been on our own since then. My brother has moved out now too, so I am home alone with my mom most days now because she doesn’t want me to leave her alone at home all day long while she works at the hospital during the nights and weekends. I love spending time with her though because we get along great together and even though I don’t like how much time it takes up from my schedule sometimes, I know it means a lot to her that I’m around when she needs me most!
