That, however, was not the original scoreline. In fact, France didn’t even lead until the 54th minute of play when Zinedine Zidane scored a header off a corner kick from Emmanuel Petit.
Brazil didn’t even get its first shot on net until the 88th minute, when Ronaldo pulled one off from outside the box that was saved by Fabien Barthez.
