The Toyota Rav4 has been around for more than two decades, with the current generation having been introduced in 2016. It’s a popular choice for families who want an SUV that’s relatively roomy, yet still fun to drive.
The Rav4 is known for its strong engine performance and good fuel economy (for an SUV), as well as its decent cargo space and passenger comfort.
The 2019 Rav4 features a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 184 hp at 5,800 rpm and 176 lb-ft of torque at 4,600 rpm. The vehicle comes standard with front-wheel drive but can be equipped with all-wheel drive for improved traction during inclement weather conditions or when off-roading.
As is true with most vehicles today, there are multiple trim levels available with each one offering different features and amenities:
LE (Liftback only) – The base model comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels; daytime running lights; air conditioning; power windows and door locks; automatic climate control; Bluetooth connectivity; a 6-speaker audio system with CD player; Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration; Siri Eyes Free voice recognition technology; push button start ignition.
