How Long Can A Cat Hold Their Poop ?

Cats are notorious for not being able to hold their poop . If you know your cat has a bowel movement, it’s best to pick it up immediately. The longer a cat goes without pooping, the more uncomfortable he will be. If he can’t get outside or go on his own terms, then he may try and pass it in other places around the house.

Cats are very clean animals by nature and they don’t like having dirty litter boxes or soiled areas of their living space. Cats have developed some unique ways of taking care of their waste such as burying it or covering it with leaves, grass or dirt from an outdoor area. It’s best to keep your cat’s litter box clean at all times because if you neglect this job for too long, your cat might start looking for another place to go potty that is cleaner than his litter box.

When a cat doesn’t feel well, he’ll often try and pass his bowel movements in a different location than his usual one because he wants them somewhere more private and away from other members of his family or household pets who may step on them by accident. This is why it’s important to keep an eye on your cat at all times when they are feeling under the weather so that you don’t have.
