In another race he rolled the bike over on its side, dug himself out of it, then rode it home without any injuries whatsoever!

The fastest crotch rocket ever built was built by an engineer named Jim Nelson using many of the same parts as DeMayo’s bike. Nelson’s bike went 250 mph at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah before he crashed and wrecked it forever
