Chihuahuas are small and sturdy dogs. They are known for being great companions and hunters. They are not very fast runners but can chase for hours when they are hunting.
Chihuahua is a breed of dog that originated in Mexico. Their name means “tiny dog” in Spanish. They have short legs, long body, round face and large eyes. Chihuahuas come in different colors such as fawn, red, black, white or mixed with these colors.
These dogs weigh anywhere between 2 lbs to 6 lbs depending on the sex and age of the dog. Females tend to be lighter than males at this weight range because they have less muscle mass than males do.
Chihuahuas are known for their small size and sturdy build which makes them great companions as well as hunters. They can run very fast especially when chasing prey down but they don’t necessarily run very far before they need a break.
The average speed of these dogs is around 10 mph while running at top speed but they usually only run at this speed for short bursts instead of long distances like other breeds might do so it’s not uncommon for them to go slower than this.
