A lot of people are talking about nightcore, but what is it? Nightcore is a style of music that uses electronic sounds and removes the vocals from pop songs. The result is an upbeat, danceable track.
The term “nightcore” comes from the fact that these songs are often played at night clubs and parties. They are also sometimes referred to as “eurodance” or “dancecore”.
The first song I heard in this style was “I Love It” by Icona Pop. The video for this song has over 1 billion views on YouTube, so it’s definitely one of the most popular examples of nightcore music out there.
There are many other popular examples of nightcore music like “Going Crazy” by F3tch or “Happy” by Pharrell Williams (although his song was already pretty upbeat).
